Over 600 volunteers have experienced working at Vatsalya...from over 27 different countries across the globe. Students from universities of Canada, US, Europe and Australia have also done their internships and social development courses at Vatsalya...

Vatsalya’s Udayan volunteer program is a safe and inexpensive way to experience the magic of India and make a difference to the lives of some of India’s most underprivileged children and have a life-changing experience. Located in a beautiful rural area outside Jaipur, Udayan is our Children’s village where more than 50 children who are either orphaned, abandoned or whose parents are unable to look after them are now being taken care of by the loving Vatsalya staff. Our program was started because volunteers from different countries bring different energy, cultures and colour to Udayan’s rehabilitation program for children. The Udayan Volunteers Guide gives you more details.

In the other projects listed above, you will have the opportunity to bring your knowledge and skills to a range of different teams and community projects. The Vatsalya Volunteers Guide gives you more details of them.

As a volunteer with Vatsalya, in whatever project you choose, at the same time as making a genuine contribution to the community in which you will live, you will understand and fall in love with the extraordinary culture, make friends for life and learn much about yourself and the world around you.

You don’t need to be qualified or have previous experience. The only qualities that our volunteers need to possess are the compassion for fellow human beings and a desire to improve the lives of those living in circumstances less fortunate than their own.

INTERNSHIPS
