Vatsalya Shiksha Niketan Students Witness the Excitement of IPL Live in Jaipur
For many children, cricket is more than just a sport — it is emotion, excitement, and inspiration. On 1 May 2026, a group of students from Vatsalya Shiksha Niketan got the opportunity to experience this excitement live as they travelled to Jaipur to watch the IPL clash between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals at the iconic Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Manohar Chouhan (Class 10) Deepu Chouhan (Class 10) Deepak Bunkar (Class 10) Rohit Chouhan (Class 10) Komal Gurjar (Class 10) Neetu Pingoliya (Class 10) Manisha Bunkar (Class 10) Vinay Nayak (Class 9) Harshita Bunkar (Class 7) Vikas Kumar (Class 6) Himanshu (Class 6)
The excitement among the children could be felt throughout the day. Even though the group was scheduled to leave in the evening, most of the children reached the campus much earlier, unable to contain their enthusiasm. As the bus journey to Jaipur began, the atmosphere quickly turned cheerful and energetic. The children enjoyed snacks and chilled papaya shakes while discussing their favourite players, match predictions, and unforgettable IPL moments.
A major topic of conversation during the journey was young batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The children eagerly spoke about how many sixes he might hit and whether the audience would witness another spectacular innings. Their excitement grew stronger with every kilometre closer to Jaipur.
As the group approached the stadium, the energy became even more electric. One unforgettable moment came when the Rajasthan Royals team bus passed near them outside the stadium premises. The children waved excitedly at the players, hoping for a response, and were thrilled when some players acknowledged them. That small interaction instantly became one of the highlights of the trip.
To make the evening even more special, the children received Rajasthan Royals T-shirts before entering the stadium. Wearing the team colours proudly, they clicked photographs, laughed together, and fully embraced the festive cricket atmosphere around them.
Inside the stadium, the children sat eagerly waiting for the first ball. The excitement exploded when Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed a six on the opening delivery of the match. The entire group erupted with cheers, applause, and celebration. Every boundary, wicket, and thrilling moment brought new excitement to the stands.
Although there was disappointment when key batters like Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal got out, the children continued supporting their team passionately throughout the match. They shouted slogans, celebrated boundaries, and experienced the true spirit of live cricket together.
After the match concluded, the group headed to a restaurant for dinner. Even while eating, the cricket discussions continued non-stop. The children passionately analyzed turning points in the game and debated how the match could have changed if early wickets had not fallen. Their excitement and involvement reflected how deeply they had enjoyed the experience.
Late at night, the children safely returned home carrying smiles, memories, and stories they would cherish for years to come. For many of them, this was their very first time watching an IPL match live in a stadium, making the experience even more meaningful.
This journey was not only about cricket; it was about joy, learning, confidence, and creating unforgettable childhood memories together. The excitement in the children’s eyes throughout the day showed how powerful such opportunities can be in inspiring young minds to dream bigger and believe in themselves.
