Built on a legacy of international goodwill and powered entirely by the sun, the Vatsalya Academy of Future Skills is the newest addition to our carbon-neutral campus in rural Jaipur.

Constructed through a generous bequest from a Belgian well-wisher, the Academy is designed to bridge the rural-urban divide in technology, science, and climate resilience. It serves as our central hub for digital literacy, astronomy, and STEM education, while also acting as a host facility for vision-aligned partners.

The Facility

We built the Academy to handle intensive, high-capacity educational and operational events in a comfortable, climate-resilient environment. It is the first fully air-conditioned building on our campus, ensuring year-round usability even in the peak of the 45°C Rajasthan summer.

Ground Floor

Three large training rooms, including the Future Skills Computer Lab (equipped with offline learning servers and BBC micro:bits). Breakout sessions, technical training, digital literacy camps, and small group workshops.

First Floor 

Main capacity hall (air-conditioned). Plenary sessions, large-scale seminars, community assemblies, and corporate retreats.

Second Floor & Roof

Dedicated astronomy platform and secondary rooftop for nighttime observation and astrophotography. Star nights, citizen-science data collection, and night-sky observation camps.

Powered by a Resilient Microgrid

Our campus doesn't just teach renewable energy; we operate inside it! The Academy is supported by a robust 30 kW hybrid microgrid with 24 kWh LiFePO4 battery storage, functioning alongside our existing 13 kW off-grid solar infrastructure. Event partners do not have to worry about the power cuts typical of rural areas. From the AC units to the computer servers, the mechanical workshop, and the water pumping systems—the entire campus runs on clean, uninterrupted energy.
